Bruno Manta

Bruno obtained his degree in Biochemistry at the School of Sciences, Universidad de la República (1999-2006), and did his Master Thesis in Enzymology (2006-2008) working on thiol-dependent peroxidases and thiol reactivity. From 2006 to 2009 he was Technical Assistant at the Protein Biophysics Unit of the IP-Montevideo. Since 2009, he is PhD-student working on monothiol glutaredoxins from trypanosomes.
Main interest: protein (bio)chemistry, biophysics, enzymology and structural biology.
