The building structure

The building includes an area of 3.500 m2 distributed as follows : a) Core facility laboratories 830 m2, b) Scientific offices and meeting rooms for core facilities 400 m2, c) Laboratories for young group leader projects 840 m2, d) Administrative offices 180 m2, e) Teaching rooms 300 m2 and f) Circulation areas 950 m2. The underground level includes a total area of 3.500 m2, which could be devoted in the future to extensions of the Institute. Also, there is a technical area of about 1000 m2 in the first floor (roof level). The total cost of this building was 4.298.406 USD.
